Branding yourself is one of the most difficult things, and because of that this is my most successful identity package designs. My logo is made up of both a geometric representation of the letters 'C' and 'D' for CaterDesigns, but those same shapes also represent the brackets used in web design work, which I have a passion for.
Illustrating the covers for the books was only half of what I wanted to accomplish. I also wanted to take the illustrations and typeset the covers as well. Bringing together these two aspects of who I am as an artist, makes this one of my favorite projects.
Rimas' work consists of strong, geometric and abstract shapes drawn and painted onto rough, textural ceramic pieces he creates by hand. To match that style I included each element which makes, Rimas' work his own, to make a poster that would both represent him, as-well-as promote his lecture at UALR.
